Inside The Off-Price Show March 2012: Here’s what you missed

The Wholesale Forums recently exhibited at this year’s Off-Price Show at Olympia, London. The venue was buzzing with great people and our team spotted new and upcoming companies offering everything from top designer clothing, ex-chainstore, high street brands and upcoming labels. It was hard to miss the buyers who zoomed through racks and piles of ladies & men’s fashion, baby & children’s clothes, sportswear and much more. After all, the show only offered two busy days of trading!

Anthony talks about the value of social media

Aside from spying on the latest trends, our main agenda was to give attendees a free social media seminar. Anthony discussed methods by which businesses can better quantify the value of social media. It was fantastic to see an increasing amount of interest on Facebook and Twitter, especially from B2B brands. Our free seminar was held for two consecutive days and attendees grabbed the chance to visit our stand for a free business consultation. Of course, we couldn’t stop talking about how awesome our community is and inviting everyone to hop in on our friendly forums.

“This year’s show was full of renewed positivity on all fronts. It was encouraging to see a record many people looking to start their own businesses combined with suppliers who were hungry to do deals there on the day. As ever IDEX, the organisers of the show, put on an excellent event and made it a pleasure to participate in. We’re looking forward to September when the show returns!”
