2. Registration and Access
To register as a member of this community is free of charge and will take you just a few minutes. If you haven't already registered, you can register here
As a member of this community, you are strictly limited to registering only one user account.
Any member that is found to be using multiple user accounts will have their community membership permanently rescinded.
As a community advertiser, you are strictly prohibited to share/rent your advertiser account. Any advertiser found to be sharing/renting out their access and allow third parties to post offers will be automatically banned from this community. Advertisers found sharing their accounts will be responsible for any problems/transactions arising from the shared/rented account.
If you have been permanently banned from this community previously, you are forbidden from registering any new accounts. You are however entitled to contact us
to discuss whether your ban can be lifted. Please always state your community username when contacting us otherwise we may be unable to assist you.
The use of anonymous proxies or other IP address filters to access this community is strictly forbidden. If you are found to be using a proxy to access this community your membership will be permanently rescinded.

3. Posting and Forum Etiquette
In order to post messages on this community you will need to have completed the registration process to become a community member. If you haven't yet registered, please register here

Posting threads in the Bad Supplier section will require proof of transaction. Failure to provide such will result in the removal of the thread.

5. Inappropriate Material
In order to protect The Supplier Central and its community members from legal risk, and to maintain an environment that encourages constructive debate and discussion, the following inappropriate material may not
be posted on this message board and we reserve the right to remove any material at our sole discretion without notice at anytime:
- Posting inflammatory, abusive, racist, misleading or otherwise offensive comments, remarks, language or insinuations.
- Posting claims against third parties, companies, and suppliers without sufficient proof or evidence
- Posting material to which a third party claims copyright, other intellectual rights or that breaches applicable laws without a) permission from the owner of such copyright or other intellectual property rights or b) adequate referencing and acknowledgement of the owner of such copyright or other intellectual property rights.
- Posting adult content, obscene, vulgar or pornographic material including links to other website's that contain or promote this material.
- Posting prohibited content that is against Google's content policies, or any other search engine, and their subsequent content policies.
- Posting guides or partaking in the discussions of how to unlock or circumvent copyrighted or protected software and technologies.
- Posting content or sensitive information that may invade the personal privacy of another individual or business.
- Posting unsolicited/commercial advertising, or the promotion of your own business or website unless; a) you are a registered community advertiser or b) have purchased advertising/marketing as part of bespoke solutions.
- Posting unsolicited/commercial advertisements that attempt or invite the distribution of counterfeit/trademark infringing products/services. (Typically fake, replica or otherwise brand/right infringing goods).
- Posting guides or partaking in discussions that promote or endorse pyramid, affiliate, referral or quick cash schemes.
- Posting, requesting or distributing material via e-mail or the private messaging system that contravenes any of the terms.
- Posting irrelevant, off-topic or generally ill-thought or unexplored material/content.
- Posting pictures or graphical images within your post that are not hosted on your own web space or without the explicit permission of the web space owner. (Typically referred to as hot-linking).
- Posting any material that contravenes any applicable laws, including tax, customs, and VAT avoidance.
As a community member, should you come across any material which you believe is inappropriate you may use the report post feature within individual community threads or alternatively you may contact us directly

6. Private Messaging / E-mailing
As a registered member of this community, you have the ability to use the private messaging facility to contact other members and our community advertisers. This feature is only available to those members with over ten or more quality posts and you must have been registered for at least ten days.
You are strictly forbidden from attempting to circumvent any of these terms via the private messaging or e-mailing systems. This includes but is not limited to sending; unsolicited commercial advertisements, abusive, rude or otherwise suggestive content.
Any abuse or attempt to circumvent our terms via these means will result in the permanent termination of your members account.
As a community member you are permitted a storage facility of up to 500 messages. As a community advertiser, you can benefit from an increased level of 2000 messages. (Note: It is your responsibility to maintain and backup your own storage facility).
This community does not provide a member-to-member e-mailing feature. If you wish to contact another member of the community, please use the private messaging facility that is provided.

The use of a member’s signature (appended below any posts you make) is limited to those who have a community or advertising membership and is subject to the following stipulation.
- Your signature must be set through the option provided in your members control panel and not manually added to the end of posts.
- Advertisers are permitted four hyperlinks if linking to pages within this community or two hyperlinks if to external website's.
- Your signature may not be rented or sold to anybody else.
- Your signature may not be a size greater than the default, include more than two different colours or contain referral or affiliate links.
- Any attempt to advertise through your members signature (when not a community advertiser) is subject to termination of the privilege and possibly your members account along with it. We reserve all rights to modifying, removing or disabling signature facilities.

8. Warning points, ban and suspension policy
This community operates a system of formal warnings and these are issued to members in the form of recorded warning points. Typically when a member infringes our terms, a community moderator will issue an infraction reminding them of the terms of the user agreement that you have read, understood and agreed to at the point of registration and each time you use this site. It is your responsibility to read these terms in their entirety and ensure that you comply. Confessing ignorance after the event will not be acceptable.
Depending on the severity of your infraction, you may, at our sole discretion, be subject to a warning or an immediate ban from this community either on a temporary or indefinite basis. We generally operate a two strike policy but make no guarantees that your offence will accommodate a second chance.
By reading and ensuring that you are complying with our terms, you will hopefully never have the unsavoury experience of being informed by the moderating team that you are in breach of these terms that you have agreed to be bound by.

9. Inappropriate behavior
We do not permit inappropriate behavior against community members including The Supplier Central staff and moderators. This includes disturbance of the peace and order inside our community. Engaging in the following activities can lead to suspension of your membership privileges and/or a permanent ban from the community.
- Alienating members, staff, or moderators. The community does not allow witch hunting or, continuously exposing/attacking members for the purposes of harassment and undermining their character.
- Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums – this includes argumentative discussion of sensitive topics such as race, religion, and discussions against another forum member/s
- Causing disturbances in forum threads - such as picking fights, making off topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting and abusing other forum members
- Repeat offenders, vile members, and trolls – these are members who deliberately use the forum to cause dispute. These users cost us time and resources taking our focus away from more important tasks like verifying advertisers and stock, dealing with reported posts, and keeping the forum spam free.
- Flippant/nonchanlant views of forum procedures/rules

11. Third party requests for removal of user generated content
We do not monitor our platform for the accuracy or correctness of any user generated content and as such, do not take any liability over third-party postings. We can, where requested to do so, investigate and review complaints on a case-by-case basis.
Please note that any removal or amendment on our part may be considered as assisting fraudulent activity. Our editorial intervention on information that has been in the public domain for some time could be classed as an act of preventing the course of justice.

Marketplace Rules and Protocols
12. Community Protocol for Suspicious Advertisers, Buyers, and Stock
Feedback and/or criticisms about advertisers or their promoted offers are not permitted to be posted inside the Marketplace. Publicly posting these comments often have a negative impact on an advertiser’s offer and unnecessarily detract from the purpose of the advertisement in the first instance. We believe it is up to each member to individually judge for themselves whether an offer presents value to them.
In the event that you feel that a promoted offer and/or an advertiser is suspicious, we ask that you alert The Supplier Central staff via the report post button or by getting in touch via our support
desk. All reports received by us are treated confidential and investigations involving advertisers and/or their promoted offers are carried out as required.

13. Prohibited stock and services
We strictly do not permit the following items to be promoted in our marketplace:
- illegal, counterfeit or unauthorised stock such as the following:
- fur skins and articles made from fur skin
- endangered animals or plants
- firearms, explosives and ammunition
- realistic imitation firearms
- self defence sprays such as pepper and CS gas sprays
- suppliers lists, wholesale lists, or supplier details
- sale of backlinks which is prohibited by Google
- sale of entire businesses inside our Marketplace
- sale of advertiser accounts in online marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon
- stocks that deal with multilevel marketing, pyramid, affiliate, referral or quick cash schemes
Advertisers suspected of selling counterfeit and unauthorized stock are investigated and are required to submit proper and official documentation to prove stock authenticity within 7 working days
. Failure to comply with the investigation process can lead to advertising accounts to be permanently banned.

14. Consumer Safety Standards
Unless we have agreed with you in advance and in writing to the contrary, you represent and warrant to The Supplier Central that: if you are a business, you are duly organised, validly existing and in good standing under the laws of the state or country in which your business is registered. In any event, you represent and warrant to The Supplier Central that: (a) the item is not one that would fall within any of the prohibited items described in Section 13 (b) the item is safe and bears any marking and labelling required under applicable law e.g. a "CE" mark.

15. The Supplier Central Marketplace Buyer Guidelines
Buyers should alert community advertisers with any issues about stock purchased within 3 – 5 days after receipt. This is with respect to any refund and return policy agreed upon between you and the community advertiser.
Buyers are expected to only transact with active community advertisers who are identifiable via green advertising badges. Moderators are also approved to advertise in the forum.
Emails within the community's marketplace are filtered in such a way that only active advertisers and staff can view this information, hence it should not be posted anywhere else in the forum to avoid unwanted offers or spam.
It is recommended for buyers to use payment processors like PayPal that offer buyer protection in case of a problematic transaction.
Buyers are encouraged to contact staff via the support desk
for any discrepancies inside the marketplace or issues with any of our community advertisers.

16. Problematic Transactions inside The Marketplace
In the event of problematic transactions made inside the community, The Supplier Central conducts basic investigation in order to assist buyers and advertisers in resolving their issues. We require both parties to submit supporting documents of their transactions (i.e. official receipts, refund information, and other transcripts of the transaction).
Registered community advertisers and members who fail to cooperate with investigation carried out by The Supplier Central are automatically suspended. Parties proved to be engaging in fraudulent transactions are banned from the community. The Supplier Central will notify the community about the ban and encourage other affected members to come forward.
Generally, community advertisers are given 7 working days
to resolve problematic transactions. Failure to resolve issues in a timely manner will result to your account being banned.
We reserve the right to disclose information to affected buyers/advertisers in order for them to pursue a legal course of action.

17. Refund Policy and Suspended Advertisers
Any transactions made for advertising memberships and subscriptions are final and cannot be refunded. This includes refund requests from advertisers who are suspended as a result of an investigation.

18. Intellectual Property Rights
Trade Intellect Ltd is the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in this site and in the material published on it by us (“Content”). All Content is protected by copyright laws and all rights are reserved. You must not use any part of the Content on our site for commercial purposes without a licence from us to do so.
You warrant that the intellectual property rights in all content and material posted to the site by you is owned by you and no third party assert rights to such material and you are not infringing any such third party’s rights. We reserve the right to remove at any time without notice any content or material at our sole discretion which we believe may contravene these terms.

Where our site contains links to other sites, through adverts placed on our site or otherwise, such website's are provided by third parties and we have no control over the contents of such sites or the trading methods of such businesses and do not by such adverts or links endorse any such businesses. We accept no responsibility for any adverts or links to other website's or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

20. Viruses and other Offences
You must not knowingly misuse our site by introducing viruses or other material of any description which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any computer or database connected to our site including using a denial-of-service attack. Any breach of this requirement may constitute an offence under the Computer Misuse Act and we will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and cooperate by disclosing your identity. Any breach of this provision will immediately result in termination of your right to use our site.
We shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material that may be due to your use of our site, to downloading any material posted on the site or on any website linked to it.

The information that we collect from you is part of our basic registration process and is limited to your email address, IP address, location and any profile information that you optionally submit to our community. In respect of advertisers, we collect your business information, including: business name, address, legal entity, telephone numbers, email address and identity confirming documentation. In respect of all members (including advertisers) your information will be held up until which point your user account is deleted.
Trade Intellect Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner with Data Controller No. PZ2467340. As a data controller and by submitting information to us you hereby consent to the storage or processing of such information by us.
We use the information we collect from you, to notify you of any changes to our services and to send you emails which may contain references to suitable products or services that we feel you may be interested in.
We may disclose your information to a prospective seller or buyer or their advisers in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, including in respect of The Supplier Central, The Wholesale Forums or Trade Intellect Ltd.
Other than as set out in these terms, Trade Intellect Ltd will not sell, rent or pass the information we store about you to third parties. Whilst our server, databases and online community are all located securely in our London, UK facility, unfortunately the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. We will do our best to protect your information but any transmission is at your own risk.
We reserve the right to disclose your identity (or whatever information we know about you) to comply with any legal obligation or in the event of an official request from a legal authority or any legal complaint/action arising from as a result of any message posted or activity involving your member account or as necessary to protect the right, property and safety of Trade Intellect Ltd, our members/clients or others.

The material and content displayed on our site is provided without any guarantees or warranties as to its accuracy. To the fullest extent permitted by law we hereby expressly exclude all conditions and warranties implied by law or statute and all liability whether in tort (including negligence) or for breach of contract or otherwise in respect of any damage incurred by any user in connection with the use of, or inability to use, our site, resulting or caused due to any advertising placed on our site by members, users or third parties or any website's linked to our site.

23. Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter or formation, the use of our site (including both contractual and non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the Laws of England and Wales.
