THERES A SCAMMER AMONGST US

Hi,

i’m quite embarrassed to be writing this post as I should have noticed that the person in question was an Uber scammer and has an excuse for everything.

On the 20/04/20 I wrote a post on the forum asking for any suppliers with high-end cosmetic products and I got a couple of replies.. A registered supplier replied to my post asking for my contact Details and I supplied my email address. Shortly after providing my email address I received an email from a dude calling himself ‘Gaurav‘
Stating that he’d seen my post on the forum and that if I am still looking for high and cosmetic products, he is able to supply them.

after a few emails back and forth Gaurav asked me if I had an app called Telegraph.
I said no and that I can speak to him on WhatsApp if that’s any better.

Gaurav Said that he doesn’t have WhatsApp but he is happy to speak to me on Telegraph. Gaurav‘s username on telegraph is @Severus11

I ordered TonyMolly products and paid £106 thinking I’d get them in a week and they never turned up even though he was insisting that the order was made and that it’s currently out for delivery.

During this time he made SEVERAL excuses about everything.

I asked for my money back and he made a counter offer.. Stating he can offer me an order on amazon and I’d get my items..

Gaurav Put the items through on amazon and sent me a screenshot of the items ordered with an estimated delivery date.

A week went by and he was very quiet. That for me spelt trouble.

I got hold of the screenshot he sent me with the Amazon order and I contacted the seller on Amazon to request if indeed my order was made or if it had been cancelled as I had a feeling that this guy was a scammer.

The seller on Amazon emailed me right back and said that my order had been cancelled but not on their end, they also sent me a screenshot of my order and that it had been cancelled. I messaged Gaurav asking him if he can check the status of my Amazon order and he quickly replied back to say ‘give him a couple of mind to check’

from there I lost my temper and I told that SOB to give me my money back.

I was met with message after message stating that he’s not a scammer and that the order was never cancelled..

EVEN THOUGH I HAD THE PROOF IN BLACK & WHITE.

Then he said that’s the reason why the order was cancelled it’s because his card needed to be authorised.

I told him to cut the BS and give me my money back or I’ll be going to the police and contacting my bank.

unfortunately I’ve not got my money back and I never thought I would get my money back.

The guy insisted so much that he wasn’t a scammer but he even somehow found me on Facebook and friend requested me, he also sent me a message on Facebook.

Its just plain Weird.

please be wary.
I don’t want anyone else to be a victim.

It is me ChanV is talking about and not only have I already refunded her , but I have also compensated for the delay . I didn't make any excuses during this whole period . I wasn't able to deliver the order but I have already refunded her and she is receiving her money back.

She keeps assuming that I have scammed Heer when I have not

I contacted her on Facebook because she removed the contact with me , I did not.

Thirdly she is lying above that I said order never cancelled , I admitted order was cancelled , I said I didn't cancel it , I can provide proof of everything from order to refund being done.

I have been scammed 3 times already on this forum but even so I am refunding her even if I couldn't fulfil her order. When I didn't deliver Amazon order I offered to give her Amazon Gift card but she refused that , When she asked for refund , I agreed to refund , but since I am not from UK I told her it would take a few days for her to receive but she just didn't listen.

I have the same conversations as well , And as for This is the guy. I am here , Not running away or anything.

First of all you need to stop acting like I have not sent refund , It takes time for Bank transfer .

Secondly not once did I provide excuses , When I didn't deliver the TonyMoly order , I offered the amazon , if you refused it then I would've refunded you then . Its not my fault Amazon needed to verify the order manually with Account Specialist , I can provide proof of everything I am saying.

Third I have already refunded , all you have to do is wait for money to reach your account . PAL!

I’d like to add.. You MUST have known that I’d write about This experience on the forum.. Otherwise how would you know to look at the bad experiences page?!?!?!?!!

Lmao. I didnt look for Bad experiences page , I just looked at new posts. You know thats the option right ? Secondly yes I knew you would write about it because you are so very forward about how if a day passes its the end of world

Thirdly its been 3 working days since I refunded not 7 DAYS like she is claiming.

I am here to moderate, not taking sides or anything. But please still observe proper decorum.

First off, both parties are claiming they have records of the conversation, heading to the transaction made. Should you like to post in evidences, you may do so here and post them publicly to show that no one is hiding anything. However, I can see some flaws here:

@gleipnir - I laud your courage to clear up your name and defend your position, as any seller would do so to keep the business running. However, there are 2 things you must take note here in TWF:

1. We do not allow non advertisers selling products and services to our community. This right remains to the subscribed advertisers who took the time to have their intent of selling here move to legitimate ways. Should you really want to advertise, you must apply for the membership and you must supply us with your business information. This provides confidence to buyers that you are legitimate and not in here trying to get a quick buck.

2. The email address you are using does not even spark any confidence at all. Most businesses will not use generic emails (such as gmail and such) since they are free to acquire and use. Should you plan on selling legitimately, you should find ways to gain confidence to your potential buyers, like having a real own email domain.

Should you like to be allowed to do business in TWF, I strongly advise you to apply for the membership. Any further offerings (posts) made by you to other sections offering products or services will be moderated as such and removed. If you want to truly be a legitimate seller here, please follow the process. (@Jed @Jenilee please advise)


@ChanV - This is why here in TWF, we always recommend to only transact with the real advertisers in the community. Subscribed advertisers go through an application process in which TWF will be aware the people and business behind the account. We will let this thread remain open for both of you to discuss should you still like it to push on, but please keep it civil, and note that statements are nothing without evidences. And as stated by the seller, wait a few days more until the transfer for a refund has been granted.

We cannot do more beyond this as the seller is not really an advertiser in TWF, and that we know little to no information about this particular seller. We just hope that the seller keeps to his / her word about the refund.

I have already paid her. But I just now am buying some bitcoin to exchange with an exchanger in UK who can refund her instantly , I will then ask for bank to cancel my current transaction. Within next couple of hours I will update here once refund is done. I hope that this thread is deleted if not just my email and contact.

And I to answer your question I am not a business , I am just an individual who is able to deliver these things ,have been delivering for a long time.

I tried to signup as advertiser , but my payment method didnt work for forum I contacted staff but was never replied to my query regarding payment method.

Which incidentally is why refund is taking time because I am not from UK , Still I am trying to rush the refund.

This is turned into more of a thread to defame me rather than a scam accusation , If she is sending screenshots ask her to send screenshot of my chats where she agreed to wait till 19th for refund ., But didnt actually do so.

Also please ask her to screenshot me offering her Amazon gift card after her order was cancelled,.

Lastly i request ChanV to wait a few hours if possible before accusing me of more thing, I never once said i wasnt at fault or that i delivered order , I am just saying that i did not scam.

I am already working on refund in a dfferent manner and not waiting for bank which most likely wouldve been done today either way but regardless she wanted to make a scene so here were are.

Logged into my other account by chance with wrong email and replied to this thread
